How We Started
How We Started
Founded in the heart of Sydney at 220 Pitt Street by Sugiarto Wijono, Lily Tenacious Wijono, and Antonius Auwyang, Pandawa was born from a shared vision: to bring the authentic soul of Indonesian cuisine to the global stage. Inspired by the legendary figures of Javanese heritage, our name reflects a spirit of integrity and resilience.
We began as a "home away from home" for the Indonesian community and have grown into a premier destination for all, pioneering the Rice Wrap (Nasi Bungkus) in Australia and remaining dedicated to the rich, halal traditions of the archipelago.
Our Mission
Together with the Pandawa family, we strive to elevate Indonesia’s name worldwide through the authenticity of Nusantara cuisine.
Book NowOur Vision
To establish Pandawa Indonesia as the number one culinary destination in the world, bringing the authentic flavors of Nusantara to unite tastes on the global stage.
